I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately. For myself and my clients. What am I done tolerating from myself? Where do I need to step up?
Think about it.. Where have you been dropping the ball or not following through? Do you have projects started and not finished? Do you keep talking about exercising but don’t? Do you say this is the year you will get organized but haven’t gotten started? If it is important to you do it. If not let it go and take it off your mind and your list.
Le’ts stop! Enough already. We can’t get to where we want to be if we keep allowing this behavior. Life can be simplified if we just do what we need to do and stop procrastinating. Once you get started you find the project or task didn’t take very long. You procrastinated way longer than it took to actually complete it. Learn from this. Just push yourself when you aren’t in the mood. Tell yourself “I am better than this”. I can do this quickly and efficiently. As Nike says… JUST DO IT!
The stress of having these things on your mind and feeling bad about not completing it is not good for your mood or your health. Step up and give yourself new standards. Plan out what you promise yourself you will accomplish each day and make this list a priority. Tackle it with abandon! Review your week on Friday and see how you did and how you feel having taken needed action. Decide how you will celebrate this new you! This momentum will feel amazing.
Being organized makes everything easier so I hope that is a priority on your list. You can do it – because YOU ROCK! (yes I am a huge Tony Robbins fan!)
To your simply organized life!
